Position Title: Sales Executive
Key Focus: College and University research, High Performance Sports.
Location: North America
Position Summary: The Sales Executive plays an important role in driving the growth and success of VO2 Master. This individual will be responsible for generating and closing sales, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-oriented professional with a strong understanding of physiology and a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through tradeshows, networking, online research, and referrals.
- Engage and qualify inbound leads to convert opportunities into sales.
- Confidently engage with academic researchers and sports science professionals, understanding their methodologies and purchasing drivers
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including initial contact, relationship building, product presentations, closing, and post-sale support.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and track progress using CRM tools.
- Conduct product demonstrations via video conferencing and in-person.
- Execute outbound sales campaigns within specific market segments.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business and referrals.
- Communicate effectively using a variety of platforms, including video calls, email, phone, and social media.
- Develop VO2 Master product and VO2 testing knowledge, in order to demonstrate the product and have meaningful discussions with prospective clients.
Sales Support and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver weekly sales reports, updates, and forecasts to the management team.
- Develop customized quotes, proposals, and responses to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and customer needs.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, deals, and account progress within the CRM system.
- Become knowledgeable with the VO2 Master product and the industry
- Be available for travel, including potential international trips, to attend industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field, preferably having sold to academia, high performance sports (coaches, national federations) or researchers.
- A degree or certification in kinesiology, physiology, or applied exercise science—or equivalent experience working with metabolic or VO2 testing equipment—is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Competence in CRM software, and video conferencing platforms.
- Ability to learn the VO2 Master product and VO2 testing process.
- Experience with VO2 testing with athletes or educational organizations
- A passion for health, fitness, and wellness is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Sales:
- Generate sales leads through attending tradeshows, networking, referral requests, online / social media research, etc.
- Follow up on inbound and marketing leads, identify qualified opportunities, and provide appropriate levels of information
- Manage the customer relationship at all points of the sale including first impression, relationship development, sales pitch, close and post-purchase follow-up, and support
- Prospect for new business; conduct sales calls, actively grow your book of business, and stay on track with our CRM software
- Perform sales demos for customers via Zoom and in-person
Communication:
- Effectively communicate in person and using phone, video conferencing, email, text, and social media platforms to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Maintain in a CRM deals, contacts and accounts
- Assess customer needs and use strong product knowledge to generate sales and the purchase of add-ons
Other:
- Create quotes, bids, RFQ’s, proposals, and invoices for customers
- Prepare and present weekly sales reports to management
- Some travel required which may be international
