We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive pipeline and accelerate revenue growth through fast, high-quality lead engagement and consistent outbound prospecting. Based in Vernon, BC, VO2 Master is seeking a highly responsive, organized, and outcomes-driven teammate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves connecting with people.
The Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Inbound & Outbound to own the top of our funnel: timely lead response, qualification, and SQL generation across inbound channels as well as cold outreach.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing (and working closely with Sales), you will drive first-touch engagement, qualify marketing leads into sales-ready conversations, and proactively build pipeline via outbound prospecting. Key Responsibilities:
Own Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Engage and qualify inbound leads from web chat, social (comments and DMs), form submissions, email, phone, and tradeshow leads, guiding prospects toward a sales conversation.
- Deliver a high-quality first-touch experience, uncovering needs, use case, and urgency, and confidently handling common objections.
- Promote qualified prospects into SQLs and schedule meetings for the Sales team. (At VO2 Master, an SQL is a qualified prospect who meets ICP criteria and agrees to a scheduled sales conversation, demonstrating buying intent.)
Outreach & Prospecting
- Proactively build pipeline through outbound prospecting using ZoomInfo and other sources, targeting relevant segments such as pro teams/coaches, performance centers, universities, physiotherapy, and fitness/wellness organizations.
- Execute consistent outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn, including follow-up sequences to convert targeted prospects into booked meetings/SQLs.
CRM Hygiene & Pipeline Reporting
- Maintain clean, accurate lead records and stages in the Lead Management System to ensure reliable visibility into pipeline, next steps, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success for lead nurturing and handoff.
- Share feedback and insights with Marketing and Sales (lead quality, objections, messaging, channel performance) to improve conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
You won’t be responsible for closing deals—your focus is qualifying prospects and setting up high-quality handoffs to Sales.
Performance indicators we care about
- SQL/meeting creation volume (inbound & outbound)
- Lead-to-SQL conversion quality (fit & readiness, not just quantity)
- Outbound consistency (weekly activity cadence and follow-through)
- CRM accuracy and follow-up discipline (clean handoffs, clear next steps, reliable reporting)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years in sales development, BDR, or inside sales roles (health tech or SaaS preferred)
- Highly responsive and organized; thrives on timely communication
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; comfortable on the phone
- Experience with Lead intelligence systems, Lead Management systems, CRM platforms, and sales engagement tools
Nice-to-Have
- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred in Professional Sales, Marketing, Business/Commerce, Communications, or a related field.
- Bonus: Background in Kinesiology, Exercise/Sport Science, or Health Sciences is an asset.
- Experience working with Active Campaign, ZoomInfo, and Intercom
- Genuine passion for endurance sports and performance technology that fits VO2 Master’s culture.
- Languages: Fluency in French, Spanish, or German is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
